ABOUT WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY
Western Sydney University is located in the Greater Western region of Sydney, Australia. In 2015, the university rebranded and changed it's names from the University of Western Sydney to Western Sydney University.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher research degrees with campuses in Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Parramatta, and Penrith.
The university is split into 13 schools including the school of business, the school of nursing and midwifery, the school of computer, data and mathematical sciences and the school of health sciences among others.
There are over 90 student clubs that students can get involved with which fall under the following categories: social life, cultural, religious, sporting, political, and programme related. The are different clubs at each of the campuses.
There are a range of facilities on campus for students to enjoy including a number of art galleries, the Penrith Observatory, Campbelltown Rotary Observation and a gym, Western Sydney University offers $25 million in scholarships every year, which are funded by both the university and external donors.
因應疫情影響,澳洲西雪梨大學於2021年6月1日至2021年12月31日委託文大法學院辦理「NEW COLOMBO」專案合作計畫,兩校合作以全英語及線上視訊影片方式進行上課、視訊論壇及實習互動及介紹成果等,拓展兩校學術與實務的互動合作機會。
西雪梨大學並於2022.12.3-12.17到文大法學院進行參訪,除了體驗大新館上課,並參觀立法院、律師事務所及智財與商業法院,未來也將進一步洽談雙聯學位計畫,為兩校師生提供更多學習及合作空間。
